Thank you, Marlene for being the sweetest, most spiritual & loving lady for our stay at your motel. The room was just right for this point in our travels. Comfortable bed & refreshing shower much needed! The price was a welcomed affordable rate, but it was the lovely lady that made it the best!
If you’re a traveler on a budget, STOP HERE!! Paid 52.50 w/ tax for a nice room for the night. Hospitality through the roof. The rooms are definitely older, felt grandma’s house-esque. Showers great and hot and bed was comfy, which is all I ask for on the road. If you want subservience, fanciness and to be pampered you should head somewhere else but if you’re like me and want a little experience in your travels stop by! Thanks again Marlene!!
Marlene is a very sweet, personable kind host! The motel was so wonderfully Clean, far superior to many others I've experienced. Although the decor is not as new and classy, the beds and pillows were more comfortable, and being clean makes it worth returning to! Great value for the lower price!!
Warm and cozy place to stay. Very reasonable rates, even with having our dog. The woman who runs it is lovely and made sure we were taken care of. The beds were so comfortable- I was really pleased with how soft they were. AC and heat worked great too. Great little local-owner place!
Clean and comfy and quiet. Hostess is so nice and accommodating. Beds SO comfy. Such friendly people and a safe area. The town of Minden has a wonderful cafe and a great meat market! Parks nearby too. Check out Arrowhead State Park and Botna Park. I would definitely stay there again if I make it back that way in my travels.
Great hospitality, and lovely rooms. I was passing through in between winter storms and was greeted with overwhelming friendliness and kindness. The proprietor made sure my room was warm and she was incredibly caring towards my dog. All amenities were exceptional. I will stay again and 100% recomend.
I stayed in this motel for five nights over the Memorial Day weekend and found it to be very good. The owner is a very nice lady and quite accommodating. The only person taking care of the room is the owner, so I didn’t worry about leaving my belongings. The town is quiet and safe. I’ll definitely stay there again if I’m ever that way again.
This place is a hidden gem! It's an older motel, and has a fun vintage feel. The owner, Marlene, is very friendly. She keeps the place very clean and comfortable. If you want to support a great small business owned by a wonderful woman, this is your best bet! The town is quiet and charming. There is a post office, bowling alley, and restaurant all next door, but the motel remains very quiet even when the other businesses are busy. There's even a little mom and pop general store across the way. It's a fun and friendly place to stay. I stayed here about a month for work and enjoyed it very much.
